At the Enlace Institute, we focus on strategic thinking and planning. We teach organizations how to deal with internal change and external forces, to build their organizations for proactive and constant renewal. Organizations that learn to continuously improve are better equipped to retain team-members, develop more leaders and maintain animo, the energy and spirit of the organization.
Our bilingual training sessions are designed for those organizations who want to revitalize the organization and its leaders, want to improve their priorities and strategies, and want their team leaders to work with mutual accountability.
Enlace Institute trainings are based on actual work experience and are designed to be participatory and dynamic. These are collaborative brainstorming processes that are useful for virtually all work groups in base-building organizations, including top staff leadership teams, strategy groups, organizing teams, boards of directors, and teams that include volunteers.
Enlace’s methodology is based on the Integrated Organizing Approach (IOA). The IOA is a method to plan and carry out campaigns that identify and pressure a powerful institution's vulnerabilities so successfully, that the institution is forced to negotiate with the campaign organizers. Developed over the course of our 15 years of collaborative campaigning and workshops, the IOA combines strategy development, internal capacity-building to carry out the strategy, and cultivation of key allies aligned with the strategy.
The IOA is built on Frameworks -- step-by-step collaborative planning processes that we have developed as tools in our own campaigns. Enlace Frameworks transform and increase a group’s internal capabilities, allowing them to develop multifaceted, winnable campaign plans.
