Supervision/Leadership Training Series

The objective of the Supervision/Leadership Series is to help groups to grow and to develop the capacity to improve the abilities of the staff and the leaders of the organization. With our frameworks leaders learn to become better supervisors and to help to motivate the staff to improve their skills and to assure accountability. 

In August, we opened the supervision series to not only organizations of low-wage workers but also to other types of organizations; this training was carried out in three days where the participants learned:

· How to facilitate one-in-one meetings,
· How to give corrective feedback,
· How to facilitate team meetings,
· How to evaluate a fight or an event.

Enlace also created a manual for this training with detailed descriptions of the frameworks. We are in the process of translating it into Spanish.
The groups that attended this series were:  Community Cycling Center, Schools Uniting Neighborhoods, Sexual Assault Resource Center, Native American Youth and Family Center, Oregon Literacy, Community Energy Project; Interfaith Network, National Employment Law Project, IDEPSCA, Pilipino Workers Center and UNITE HERE Local 681.
